Los jugadores se retiran, igualan o apuestan de nuevo antes de sacar del mazo una quinta y última carta comunitaria. El 'river'. La ronda casi ha terminado, y los jugadores hacen sus apuestas finales. En este punto, no se puede hacer más acción -y los jugadores muestran sus cartas para ver quién tiene la mejor combinación de las 2 cartas en su mano y las 3 cartas en su mesa.
