One of Derek's friends and clients, Dan Jost was a guitarist during the Legends in Concert series at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City in the summer of 2021 and Derek stopped out to see him and his amazing guitar skills. "Bill is one of the most nicest and authentic guys that I ever met. He didn't have to talk to me, but he did for almost 20 minutes. Bill Cherry eats, sleeps and breaths Elvis Presley and he looks the part, plays the part and talks the part. For a minute, I thought I was at a LIVE Elvis Presley concert in the 70's and I was shaking from excitement. Whew, if you can do that to a grown man, imagine what he does to the ladies!" Derek gave Bill his business card and asked if he could interview him one day. Not sure if that would happen but he would like to get to know him more on a personal level as the man and not the entertainer, similar to how some people in Elvis Presley's inner circle knew him. It was a special night as it was my second time coming to this concert. Although Derek didn't meet him the first time he went to the show a few weeks earlier, that night was even more special because he did a daddy / daughter date night with his 11 year old daughter, isabella Presley and it was their first concert together. This show was 5-Stars ALL THE WAY!
