This second annual event is returning to the Paradise Coast with even more fun, more music, and more balloons than before. People of all ages will be drawn to this noteworthy signature experience as 45 of the country's top hot air balloon pilots converge on Southwest Florida April 19th through the 21st. Guests will immerse themselves in the sights, sounds and grandeur of this remarkable exhibit of wind driven flight. This event promises to arouse all of the senses from the sheer "ooos and ahhs" of observing the hot air balloons in full display to the roar of the burners as the majestic balloons lift off the field, followed by an array of kites to be sent aloft canvassing the sky in a show of shapes and colors. The weekend will be filled with family friendly activities to support our community involvement, from regional artisans displaying their works of art, musical talents and storytelling, to kite demonstrations, agility dog trials, disc dog displays as well as the esteemed pilots & crew being available throughout the festival for the children to discover the fantasy of flight. The musical stage will be open to support the festival and entertain the crowds. With a string orchestra in the morning to national recording artists performing for the headliner concert, there is sure to be something for everybody.
