This canyon had a lot more bang for the buck than I expected it to have. Matt has talked about the "Wive" Canyons before, but I hadn't had a chance to get into them and explore. This was an amazing time with my most amazing canyon crew. Capitol Reef National Park has a lot to do and see and doesn't get as much love as some of the other canyons and parks across the state. I always call Capitol Reef the Red headed step child of the National Park system. But maybe that's a good thing. While we saw other people in the park and on the main trail, we had the slot canyon all to oursleves and the permits are free and no lottery system (yet). Guess I shouldn't advertise the canyon too much or that might change.
